Equities Financial Controller (AVP)

Our Client, a Major Global Financial institution, is looking to hire a specialist in Financial Control at AVP level. This is a 6 to 12 months contract to start with, but as this team is growing there is a high chance of becoming permanent in the New Year.



In order to ensure integrity of financial information, appropriate controls need to be implemented and monitored appropriately throughout the organisation. It is thus the responsibility of the Financial Controller to prepare statutory, regulatory, tax and management reports. You will also collaborate with other areas of Financial Control both in Singapore and overseas to assets at risks issues are resolved in a timely manner.



The ideal candidate will be a qualified or part/qualified accountant with solid fundamentals. Someone who will challenge the current processes to identify inefficiencies and control weaknesses in order to subsequently improve upon them.



You will be a clear and confident communicator as you will present reports at the monthly meeting. You should also be comfortable working autonomously as well as within a team environment, across various time zones and cultures. You should also have good systems skills ideally a good working knowledge of SAP, BW, Access and Excel.
