Hays is working with a freight forwarding company to recruit a Global Pricing & Procurement Specialist to focus on the ocean freight market.



Based in the West of Singapore the Specialist for Global Pricing & Procurement will make sure this large multinational freight forwarder continues to enjoy the most competitive freight rates in the market as well as overseeing capacity management for the region. You will support the Sales team by providing continuous market updates and managing carrier relationships to ensure optimum pricing and availability.



As a strong relationship-builder with previous experience in a freight pricing role, you will have at least 3-5 years of relevant industry exposure. Existing relationships within regional carriers would be particularly advantageous, as would knowledge of intra-Asia trade lanes.
