Legal Counsel

Our client is a international renewable energy company with large projects originating within Japan and other international markets. It is steadily growing and expanding its business operation here in Japan. Due to its rising need for legal support, it is seeking a new Legal Counsel.



You, as the Legal Counsel, will work with a senior attorney and support the Tokyo office's legal department. You will prepare, draft and negotiate various types of contracts and agreements. You will also liaise with the global headquarters on various matters concerning the smooth operation of the Japan business. Additionally, you will help with researching and keeping the company updated on relevant rules and regulations regarding essential legal matters.



You should have at least 5 years of experience, with full Japanese language skill and fluency in English. Bar qualification is welcomed and preferred, but not absolutely required.
