Senior GL Accountant

This shared service firm are offering a fantastic opportunity for a Senior GL Accountant to join their Singapore office.



Reporting directly into the Head of Financial & Reporting, the main purpose of this role is to provide financial services to appropriate business units, primarily focusing on GL.



Working in a team of 6, your responsibility will be to manage the GL side. Duties include providing accurate financial reports, preparation of GST and other tax returns, handle audit, tax and other statutory reporting, and ensuring compliance with all Group Policies.



The successful candidate will either have a Degree in Accountancy or be ACCA qualified, as well as having 5-6 years of relevant experience. The role will require the candidate to be mature, service orientated, and hands-on, in addition to having sound knowledge of tax and audit. People skills and strong communication are vital, as you'll be liaising with China on a daily basis.



Experience in Hyperion reporting is preferred, and the successful candidate must also have strong working knowledge of Excel and knowledge of accounting standards and tax requirements.
