An opportunity has arisen for a client focussed Intermediate level Accountant / Administrator to join a leading Auckland Professional Services firm in a role that will provide support, training and consulting to an established customer base. This firm is small but highly successful and its growing client base enjoys a high level of support from its skilled Accountants.



This is not your usual BAS role and is a separate specialised role within the business that focuses on consulting with clients on how to best utilise and improve their accounting systems and IT software. A fantastic personality and 'can do' attitude is an absolute must as the position is key to the firms client relationships. You will often be out onsite with clients gaining an insight to how they work and how your expertise can help make a difference. In addition to your client responsibilities you will also help with the practices accounts and will also assist the Director when needed so the role also require good administration skills.



The ideal candidate will have a solid background in Accounting and will preferably have good exposure to SME Accounting software. They won't necessarily have come from a Practice background however it is essential they understand the importance of customer service and how accounting firms work. The most important attributes of the successful candidate will be a positive attitude and willingness to assist wherever needed.
