JOB DESCRIPTION



We are looking for a Principal Electrical Designer with proven experience in the design of substations, transmission and distribution systems in the Oil & Gas, hydrocarbon and/or infrastructure industries Minimum 15 years’ experience in FEED and detailed engineering of medium to large scale projects is required.



JOB REQUIREMENTS



Minimum Bachelor of Science in Electrical Engineering or equivalent Certification, with a minimum of 15 years’ design experience in Oil & Gas, hydrocarbon and/or infrastructure industries

Plant and facility layout support and coordination Plant and facility layout and distribution

Develop Area Classifications drawings Develop equipment layout

Develop Physical design drawings (grounding/earthing, lighting protection, lighting voltage drop calculations, AG Power & Control, UG Cable/conduit, cable tray designs, etc)

Develop LV/MV schematics.

Must be a reliable designer who can work independently and able to lead/guide a team of 5 -10 electrical designers

Must be proficient in developing design drawings using Microstation Knowledge of Saudi Aramco CADD standards is an advantage

Must have excellent knowledge & understanding of Design practices, Construction Practices and Procedures

Must be proficient in English; oral and written communication.
