The Printing and Content Delivery Lab at HP Laboratories in Palo Alto, California, is seeking an outstanding innovative mechanical engineer to join its elite R&D team working on next generation printing platforms.

The new researcher would work with a team of leading engineers which includes physicists, electrical engineers, mechanical engineers, material science engineers, chemists and software engineers on breakthrough technologies to impact HP’s business and products through fundaments research and applied science.

Qualifications

The new researcher should have demonstrated ability to define and implement innovative research experiments, focused so that they enable breakthroughs in engineering practice. Strong theoretical and experimental background. Wide knowledge including physics, materials properties, thermal design, fluid flow, and control systems. Candidates should have practical experience and demonstrated proficiency on mechanical design, mechanism design, knowledge of motion control and practical experience programming embedded systems in C. Highly self-motivated individual with conscientious work habits, articulate, and able to collaborate effectively with other members of the project team.

This position is open for an outstanding Ph.D. or master level graduates.
