Underwriting Manager (Life Insurance)

A world's leading Insurer is looking for an Life Underwriting Manager to join their Life Insurance Business base in Singapore.



Reporting to the Chief Underwriter, you will contribute to the delivery of their underwriting strategy maintaining and ensuring best practice is carried out with regional office. You will identify opportunities and proactively contribute ideas for development of new proposition and procedures. You will provide technical expertise to clients and distributors, liaising with industry experts and reassurers and work closely with sales team to develop new and maintain existing business.



Ideally you will have at least 6 years of relevant working experience in the Singapore Life Insurance market, you have sound technical knowledge and skills and are a competent underwriter. You have strong understanding and knowledge of the local financial service industry and in the Asia Pacific region. Excellent tertiary qualification with the necessary professional qualification, such as, ACII or ANZIIF is an advantage.
