Responsible for the management and provision of services and facilities in contribution to the well being of the community, this Local Government has been highly recognised for its commitment to a safe and sustainable environment for its residents.
Working alongside and supporting the team of a key service area in Community Care, this role will see you undertake responsibilities for handling all calls and enquiries to the department, updating client accounts and records on the database, mail, maintaining registers and records, preparing correspondence, diary management and filing.
This role requires a high level of customer service skills, data processing and administrative skills. A strong knowledge of the Microsoft Office packages would also be essential. Previous experience working within a local government environment with Aged Care would be highly regarded.
This is a temporary assignment starting immediately for 3 months, with the view to go permanent upon demonstration of ability. A competitive salary of circa $55,000 + super is on offer reflecting previous skill and experience.
