• Implement Business policies, guidelines and audit recommendation across the Commercial Business Unit hierarchy and ensure adherence to the same.

• Robust Credit Management - establish and implement Credit Management tools & control measures for mitigation of credit risk.

• Discount Monitoring and Management - ensure compliance with Bayer Group guidelines.

• Ensuring compliance - with various tax laws, adherence to Management Circulars, Company Policies and Accounting Standards.

• Cost Management - implementing budgetary control for Revenue Expenses, drive cost synergies within the Bayer group.

• Monitoring and analyzing the ongoing monthly performance for CP and Seeds and advising the Commercial Business Unit head on measures required to achieve the annual Commercial Business Unit Profit Center Targets.

• Monitoring, reviewing and ensuring proper settlement of Trade Incentive schemes launched by the Business Administer correct and timely accounting of all payments received and payment made by company.

• Implement measures for faster realization of receivables, collection against cheque dishonors and filing / attending to Criminal Case against defaulters.

• Coordinating & responding to queries from Internal and External Auditors on behalf of the Commercial Business Unit.

• Responsible for Commercial Business Unit Asset management and a ‘Single Point Contact’ for all Corporate and Business Service functions on behalf of the Commercial Business Unit.
