Hays have the pleasure of resourcing for a Top Four Bank within the Performance and Reporting Division. The client requires a senior analyst to manage the delivery of timely, accurate and insightful management reporting to the group function.
Key Accountabilities include:
* Reporting to the manager and senior manager Performance & Forecasting this role will support the team to meet the management reporting requirements and ensure the integrity of the monthly financial results.
* Check results, run queries and identify anomalies within the General Ledger and Sustainable Reporting Cubes.
* Produce timely, accurate and insightful monthly management reports that clearly align financial performance results against targets and forecast incorporating key business drivers and highlighting risks and opportunities.
* Analyse and verify actual performance against forecasts and then look at the key drivers and variances to analyse the projection of financial outcomes. Then resolve issues identified from any reviews and implement process improvement within the team.
* The successful candidate will also get the opportunity to supervise junior team members thus it is important you have experience establishing and maintaining effective working relationships with relevant team members and peers across finance.
In order to apply for this role you MUST have the following competencies
* ACA, CPA, CIMA or equivalent.
* 3+ years within a Financial Services organisation.
* Working knowledge of wealth management industry.
* Working knowledge of key business drivers and performance metrics.
* Experience with Cognos Cubes, Oracle and TM1 is preferable.
