Working for a very successful family run business, my client is going through a period of change to grow and strengthen the business even further. Procurement plays a vital role in ensuring the success of this change and to develop a more efficient and commercial operation.



As an Indirect Buyer, reporting to the Procurement Manager you will be responsible for liaising with a variety of stakeholders to establish specifications and requirements. You will take ownership for sourcing and purchasing a range of goods and services. Ensuring that the most competitive and commercially sound contracts are put in place. You will also take accountability for managing supplier performance, developing strong working relationships with key suppliers and being point of contact for suppliers.



The successful candidate will have experience of purchasing a range of indirect categories, negotiating contracts and agreeing terms and conditions. You will be confident in liaising with stakeholders of all levels, ideally CIPS qualified.



This is a varied and challenging opportunity for a Buyer looking to expand their procurement career within a successful business.
