Quality Culture and Capability Program Manager

Job Family Description:
Leads programs and projects regarding implementation of Quality improvement strategies, measurement, and training. Supports leadership in driving quality culture and quality improvements within the organization. Responsible for identifying and improving process and program efficiency and effectiveness. Ensure that projects and programs align with the quality strategy and vision. Coaches and provides direction to the business or functional area on quality improvement projects in order to achieve desired business results. Projects are typically shorter-term, less complex and more contained with a defined time frame. Programs are typically longer-term, multi-functional, multi-project with complex requirements and effort.
Responsibilities
- Engages with senior leadership and directs the development of overall program strategies and requirements strengthening the knowledge and capability across HP to deliver quality and exceptional customer experiences.
- Manages and leads key programs involving multiple business groups, functions and project teams to drive the quality improvement process and quality culture for HP
- Manages activities of supporting program teams and internal and external partners; ensures alignment with the Customer Experience and Quality Office strategy.
- Designs, develops and implements pan-HP a comprehensive quality training curriculum and methodologies targeting executive Leaders, Managers, quality professionals and Employees.
- Anticipates tactical and strategic needs and impact on the business.
- Based on quality assessment knowledge and methodologies, investigates and creates a capability in the business groups that enables them to diagnose and detect needed focused improvements along the Quality Lifecycle phases.
- Expands the deployment of quality approaches into new product and service offerings by researching and determining the Quality Management System (QMS) requirements, roles and responsibilities for HP’s cloud and big data strategy.
- Collaborates across business groups and functions with quality culture & capability experts by gathering and implementing best practices.
- Typically interacts with high-level Individual Contributors, Managers, Directors, Program Core teams and external suppliers, partners, and customers.

Qualifications
Education and Experience:
- Applies advanced subject matter knowledge to relevant business issues, and is regarded as a subject matter expert in Quality & Customer Experience Management systems, theories, or techniques.
- Frequently contributes to the development of new ideas and methods.
- Bachelor or Master’s degree in Quality Management, Business Management, Engineering, Computer science or equivalent.
- MBA degree from top tier school strongly preferred.
- 6-10 years in quality, management consulting, project/program management or operational management including 5+ years of people management experience.
- Professional management consulting experience preferred.

- Excellent analytical and problem solving skills.
- Demonstrated business acumen, technical knowledge and industry experience.
- Successful experience managing all aspects of programs, including communicating with stakeholders and directing matrixed teams and resources.
- Proven ability to lead and succeed in a collaborative, start-up paced environment.
- Strong creativity and innovation in discovering actionable results.
- Excellent content creation and communication skills – verbal, written, presentation.
- Strong people management skills to drive virtual teams across geographies and achieve desired results.
