Senior Human Resources Advisor (Compensation Specialist)

My client, a growing organization in the energy and oilfield services sector, are looking for an experienced Human Resources Advisor (Compensation Specialist) to join their small but expanding team. As Compensation specialist reporting directly to the VP of HR, you will be responsible for analyzing and implementing complete annual salary programs and incentives from start to finish. You will be responsible for designing new LTI / STI programs, new benefits program structure, exploring stock option programs and aligning business objectives with the compensation programs and strategic HR. You will work with other business units and departments to prepare annual budgets, as well as make recommendations on policies and procedures relating to compensation and benefits.



You will have over 7 years of experience in Total Rewards and Compensation and previous working knowledge of running a complete Total Rewards program for a mid-size organization. You will also have prior experience dealing with disability and workers compensation, as well as leadership and mentoring small to mid-sized teams. As the successful candidate, you will be an expert user in HRIS systems as well as expert understanding of Microsoft Excel. You will have a Bachelor’s degree in a related business field. Certified Human Resource Professional (CHRP), Certified Compensation Professional (CCP) and World at Work qualifications are preferred, but not essential.
