Junior research sales

Hong Kong, HK - Financial Services, Information Services, Marketing and Advertising



Responsibilities:



Responsible for sales activities in Hong Kong and strategies to expand customer base in Hong Kong



Assist senior sales colleagues to identify and develop client in the sectors of hedge funds, private equity funds, mutual funds, consulting firms, and MNCs based in Hong Kong who have interests and/or investments in China.



Assist Hong Kong, Korea and Japan's administrative work working with China HQ and (billing and other general inquiries)



Build relationships and increase users with an established account base to assist upsell



Collate best practices relating to existing clients for knowledge sharing with the sales team



Work with different marketing organizations and generate prospects and leads for senior sales colleagues



Penetrate all targeted accounts and radiate sales from within client base



Identify decision makers within targeted leads for senior sales executives to begin sales process.



Cold-call prospects that are generated by external sources for senior sales executives to make first meetings



Prepare team sales reports (weekly, monthly, quarterly and annual)



Requirements:



Fluency in English and Mandarin are a pre-requisite


1-2 years sales experience in HK



Knowledge of, and experience working with, Private Equity, Hedge Funds or other financial institutions is highly preferred.



Fresh graduates can be considered if they can demonstrate exceptional knowledge of the financial industry, particularly in Greater China.



Good understanding of customer needs and market dynamics



Good communications skills, interpersonal skills, and ability to be independent and take charge;



Interest in China research and financial services



Excellent abilities with Microsoft Office, particularly Excel.






HKD260000 - HKD290000 per annum
