IFRS Policy Senior Manager, £500-575 per day, London, Financial Services, 3-6 months +



My global financial services client are currently recruiting for an IFRS Policy Senior Manager to join their high profile team in the London office.



The Reporting Policy and Developments team is responsible for the technical understanding, implementation and application of International Financial Reporting Standards globally. This Team interprets new standards, and assesses the technical and commercial implications to the business, acting as a technical adviser for the wider finance teams and business.



Role:



- Preparation and review of IFRS reporting and technical accounting papers

- Advising and supporting stakeholders in relation to technical accounting and policy issues

- Communicate the development, setting and maintenance of IFRS financial accounting/reporting policies group wide

- Interpret and implement new IFRS developments/standards- including project management and oversight of significant changes impacting the group.

- Liaison with auditors on technical accounting issues

- Provide ad-hoc training and advice on technical accounting standards

- Support the Group’s reporting process including development of the IFRS financial statement proforma and preparing external disclosure notes

£500-575 per day
