Developer Techncal Support Engineer

San Francisco Bay Area, US - Computer Hardware, Computer Software, Consumer Electronics

Apple Worldwide Developer Relations is searching for a Developer Technical Support Engineer to assist Apple developers in creating outstanding hardware and software products for the OS X, iOS, and Apple Watch platforms. The ideal candidate is well versed in Cocoa/Objective-C, Xcode/Interface Builder, and modern operating system fundamentals; is extremely articulate; and has the ability to clearly explain complex concepts to a varied audience.

Key Qualifications:

•• 2 years OS X and iOS development (Cocoa/Objective-C)

•• Excellent debugging skills

•• Excellent verbal, written and interpersonal communication skills

•• Experience with networking protocols, HealthKit, HomeKit and Bluetooth

•• Technical writing experience

•• Comfort presenting technical information to a technical audience

•• Willingness to dive in and take ownership of a technology or problem space

Description:

DTS is the main technical contact for Apple's worldwide community of hardware and software developers, and as such we help ensure that the products they ship are designed to the high standards that Apple sets for itself. This position is perfect for an intelligent engineer who enjoys collaborating with others to solve application development problems and has a passion for learning and passing on knowledge. We answer a wide range of code-level questions, create sample code and other technical resources, and work closely with teams across Apple to continuously improve the Apple Developer experience.

Education:

BSCS/CE, or equivalent experience. Brilliant recent college grads with experience shipping quality iOS or OS X apps are encouraged to apply.
