Deputy CFO/Financial Controller

This Global, World Leader logistics company are offering a fantastic opportunity for a Deputy CFO/Financial Controller to join their Singapore office.

Reporting to the Chief Finance Officer, you will be responsible for managing the day to day finance and accounting operations. Responsibilities will include preparing financial reports, budgets, cost reports, management and financial forecasts. You will have full accountability and accuracy of reports and will also be tasked to take on the overall corporate treasury functions including foreign currency and interest rate hedging, treasury operational controls and treasury management at a global level. It will be your responsibility to manage and lead internal control systems, manage stakeholders, auditors and tax agents, provide accounting advice to Business Units, and to review and improve operations.

The successful candidate must be a qualified CPA, with a minimum of 10 years relevant experience in a leadership regional role. Those candidates from either the shipping or logistic industry will be preferred, as well as those with strong knowledge of FRS, internal and tax compliance in addition to knowledge in regional and global treasury functions.



The candidate must possess excellent analytical, communication and interpersonal skills, and acquire strong business maturity, with the ability to partner senior management on finance initiatives. To work independently as well as part of a team is vital, as is being committed and able to cope with tight reporting deadlines. SAP experience and a good understanding of MS Excel reports are advantageous.
