We are offering an exciting internship (placement student) opportunity within Printing and Personal Systems (PPS). Printing and Personal Systems (PPS) aim to deliver the best product & solution experience at home, at work and on the go.
The Intern will:
• Regularly provide Sales Management with key information and reports in order to cascade Strategy to Tactical activity and execution of operations to drive Growth
• Liaise with other key functions such as Finance and Product Category in reporting of Actuals, Revenue Recognition and Pipeline Trends
• Drive programmes in conjunction with the Strategy Manager to drive better efficiency in the organization, including maximizing Sales time, detailing Process flaws and recommending improvement areas
• Own, manage and be part of reports/projects on a repeatable basis to enable constant analysis of performance.
• Work with global teams to increase productivity to support UK&I operations.
• Manage and improve key processes which help support the broader business objectives of growth, profitability and market share retention.
• Periodically undertake customer oriented and facing activities such as Profiling, Sizing and Interviewing for key information in order to understand market dynamics
QUALIFICATIONS:
Education
• Business related degree preferable
• Studying towards a class 2:1 (Minimum)
• Level Qualifications (Minimum: 300 UCAS points)
• Minimum GCSE grade Maths (B) and English (B)
Skills
• Good IT skills, especially Microsoft Excel & Microsoft Power Point
• Good communication skills
• Time Management
• Attention to Accuracy
• Organized
• Analytical Skills
• Ability to work independently
• Teamwork
• Initiative
• Fluency in English
General Internship Requirements
• YOU MUST BE AVAILABLE TO START YOUR INTERNSHIP JULY 2013
• Eligible to work and stay in the UK
• You must be willing to travel if needed
By the end of the Internship the successful candidate will be able to:
• Analyse, evaluate and design the required reports to show the health of the business against targets.
• Understand how Sales Management utilise data in order to build consistent performance and growth.
• Understand key processes behind the formulation of business Goals and Quota objectives.
• Understand the impact of Sales on the overall company performance and how Compensation Plans, Resource Deployment and Market Modelling can achieve strategic success.
• To be more confident and aware of corporate business practices, gain useful presentation skills and Communication skills.
