We are looking forhighly talented individuals with strong analytic and communications skills tojoin the team as a Director. In this role, you will leverage experience inmanagement consulting or business strategy to deliver data-driven, insightfulrecommendations to HP’s management team.
Responsibilities:
Drive key initiativesspanning growth strategy and operational excellence
Work directly withkey senior executives to manage both corporate-led and line-led project teams
Deliver data-driveninsights to support actionable strategic direction, corporate prioritization,and strategy communication (Board, investors, company)
Analyze industrytrends, competitive threats, expansion opportunities and internal performance
Lead in a teamenvironment both within the Corporate Strategy team and with business unitpartners/customers
Work collaborativelyacross organizations to help secure the commitment for cross-company effortsand fully leverage HP's assets
Develop CorporateStrategy team members, and enhance their skills and capabilities throughproject work and one-to-one coaching
Nurture and developstrong relationships with HP business unit leaders
Build and enhance thecapabilities of the team through quality and continuous improvement efforts
Qualifications
MBA or demonstrableequivalent
Minimum 4-6 yearspost-MBA experience at a leading strategy consulting firm or in similarroles such as Corporate Strategy, Business Strategy
Directly managedpeople in delivering in strategy consulting/advisory at the corporate level
Demonstrable teamleadership skills in a team setting where team members are not direct reports
Solid references thatcan quantify results and leadership abilities within a Fortune 500 company
Ability to make animmediate impact
Expertise ininformation technology industry and other sectors in which HP competes
Superior analyticaland financial modeling skills, with ability to succinctly interpret data forexecutives
Ability to focussubordinates to produce results
Demonstrable abilityto deliver results with large-scale, cross-functional teams
Exceptional projectmanagement skills
Superiorcommunication (written/verbal), presentation, and facilitation skills
