Senior Network Engineer

Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia, MY - Computer Networking, Information Technology and Services

Working for a large global financial institution, you will act as a Senior Network Engineer to support the Global team.



You will be the Network Operations escalation contact for High Severity incidents and posses troubleshooting skills to stabilize and resume services. In accordance, you will recommend appropriate level of instrumentation and thresholds set to facilitate monitoring.



In this role, you will need to have significant Analytical experience in analysing the data from software monitoring tools in order to support application development or performance modelling and analysis and tuning.



To be considered for this role, the potential candidate must have the ability to decode Sniffer trace, possess strong knowledge in WAN technology (MPLS, Ethernet WAN, PBB), Routing and Switching (BGP, IS-IS, OSPF, VPC, Multicast, Wireless) and capacity and performance monitoring and planning. Candidate that possess a Cisco or Juniper certified Internetwork expert certification and have experience with Market Data Systems, Reuters RMDS, Bloomberg, EBS, ECN's and Exchange connectivity are highly recommended to apply.
