2nd Line Support

2nd Line Support based in Southend. You will be joining a team of well-experienced IT professionals in a vibrant and dynamic working environment. My client runs a purely Microsoft environment, with a standard surrounding skill set which is outlined below.



A major benefit to this role is you will gain SQL experience and virtualised server experience with the opportunity to progress in to a more technical role. The main responsibilities are as follows;



Delivering an IT solution/point of call to 1st Line IT support staff.

Responding to other team member requests in a confident manner.

Provide an effective IT support service to internal and external staff within defined SLA's

Monitoring and maintaining IT systems and networks.

Proactively improving the IT solution on site.

Provide Basic SQL administration including creating queries and managing/monitoring stored procedures.

To ensure that all regulatory guidelines are adhered to, for example PCI.

To adhere to the Company's procedure in accordance with the FCA guidelines and TCF (treating the customer fairly).

To be compliant with the Data Protection Act 1998.

To support Managers to manage the key risks within your department.

To ensure that you conduct your role in accordance with AFC policy (to act honestly and with integrity) and to report any suspected incidents of fraud and corruption.

To adhere to all Company Policies and Procedures, including Health & Safety, Equal Opportunities, Data Protection, Code of Conduct, Security, IT and Internal Control Financial Regulations.

To undertake any other duty or responsibility that may reasonably be allocated by your Manager/Company's Senior Management Team.
