Senior Underground Mining Engineer

• Part of a start up team for the operation

This small company in Southern Asia are currently developing an underground mining operation. A key appointment in the development of the site, the on-site mining engineer will be integral in the management, design, planning and production management of the mine as they develop and go into operations over the next 12 - 18 months.



In this role you will be working with a small technical team and be the lead mining engineering expert on the project. It is a role that will be broad and you will report directly to the senior management of the company. You will get the opportunity to take a mine into operations and test your technical experience.



The role is FIFO from Perth or residential in country and will require you to be a capable mining engineer, adept at solving problems and managing your own work load,. You'll also be communicating with people from various backgrounds, local tradesmen and operators to business directors and investors.



You must be a mining engineer, have strong underground mining experience. You must also have a recognised Mining Engineering degree and mine design and planning experience is highly regarded. Overseas experience previously is a bonus but by no means a necessity.
