This large Government based organisation is a leader in innovation and technology. With a strong connection to the community and a large provider of local employment, they are an employer of choice.



Working within the central team, the procurement function provides valuable advice on the expenditure of the departments. As an advisor in this team, there is an opportunity for a strong procurement officer to provide analysis and advice on the procedures and policies across the business.



To be successful for this position you will have strong skills in tendering, analysis, quoting, supplier negotiations, contract management, and procurement process improvement. A background within Government or meeting their requirements will be highly desirable.



Prior experience managing the procurement process, including liaising with other business functions to ensure efficiency and cohesive communication. Experience using a large database such as Technology One, SAP, or Pronto will be mandatory. Any qualifications in Procurement, Purchasing and Management will be highly regarded.



You must have your own accommodation and be immediately available for an initial six month contract to be considered.
