Hays are currently working in conjunction with a Super Major to assist them in bringing on board a Senior Petroleum Engineer to join their Kuwait operations on a contract basis. They are established in over 80 countries and employ over 80,000 people worldwide. One of their main areas of operation is the Middle East where they engage with national Oil companies to exploit the regions rich resources. This is an ever interesting area to work, with continual development and further exploration.



They are looking for a Petroleum Engineer to join their operation on a one year rolling contract basis for a project that will last at least three years. The main responsibilities of the role will include but not be limited to:



•Act as coordinator and a primary technical contributor for all matters related to the proposed scope of work for the TSA (emphasis on well performance and integrated surface/subsurface issues)

•Injection optimization and prioritization

•WF sector management process & tools

•Production optimization and prioritization

•Voidage and pressure mgmt. strategy and tools

•Surveillance planning

•Artificial lift assessment



He right candidate will hold a degree in an appropriate discipline and have cross discipline organisational skills. They must have experience in in well intervention (rig workover, coiled tubing squeezes, stimulations), well inflow performance, production optimization, well completion practices and reservoir performance prediction, ESP and water injection. Remuneration will be extremely attractive day rates.
