A well-known global investment bank is seeking an experienced VP level hire for their Credit Risk Management department to proactively manage the credit exposure for the bank and maintain the integrity of the portfolio through sound analysis for for sovereigns and corporates for the Greater China region.



As a VP Credit Risk Officer in the team, you will manage the credit risk function and ensure credit proposals are in accordance with bank policy and procedures. You will work with the business to independently quantify the appropriate level of risk for the client, bank and shareholders and approve with independent lending authority. Conduct due diligence and analysis, prepare/review country, industry and counterparty credit reviews.



With a minimum of 9 years relevant experience in investment banking Credit Risk Management within a reputable financial institution, you will be familiar with risk assessments of large corporate and institutional clients, exercised delegated credit authority, and experience leading client due diligence meetings. You will be required to speak and read Chinese(Mandarin) in addition to English. Opportunity to travel will be presented.
