Established for over 50 years in Australia this company provides tailored solutions to a wide range of customers and has a brand name that is well known for quality and reliability. The finance team, based close to transport on the north shore, is currently seeking a hard working and enthusiastic Assistant Accountant to join them on a contract basis for a minimum of six months with possibility of extension.



The successful applicant will be working as part of a team and will be responsible for daily, weekly and monthly reconciliations, assisting with accounts receivable, payment allocations, investigating discrepancies in payments and assisting the rest of the team and the manager as required.



This role requires a candidate with solid all round accounting knowledge and experience, particularly in reconciliations, intermediate to advanced Excel skills and the ability to communicate clearly both verbally and in writing. You will be joining a close knit team but you should also be able to work autonomously. Exposure to SAP or similar is also highly regarded.



This is a broad based role in a friendly yet professional work environment with the option for contract extension for excellent staff members who are willing to work hard and prove themselves.
