Mechanical Design Engineer - Rotating Machines

A global leader in the power generation industry is looking for an experienced design engineer to join their team.



Reporting to the Engineering Manager, this key role will see the successful candidate undertake a range of tasks including the mechanical design of core components for gas / steam turbines, such as blades, discs, casings, rotors, vanes, and nozzles. You will also be involved in sizing / specifying equipment for a turbine package and attending design review meetings.



Ideally we are looking for a mechanical engineer with 4+ years experience in the design of components for rotating machines such as steam turbines, gas turbines, turbomachinery systems. Experience of using CATIA V5 would be an advantage and knowledge of the power generation sector would be a bonus.
