Profile/Role Description



The Database Administrator manages the build and run responsibilities for complex, enterprise level RDBMS environment; database design and performance; for a specific database platform or program. Prepared and able to work in a fast paced environment where multi-tasking is required.

Self-motivator, analytical, able to work independently, proactive and willing to dig in to find problems and identify areas of improvement. Experienced in full life cycle application development. Experience with complex database recoveries, disaster recovery, monitoring, and troubleshooting.

Understands the standard concepts, practices, and procedures. Performs a variety of complicated tasks. Demonstrates proficiency in a variety of the field's concepts, practices, and procedures.

Results driven. Documents reusable processes and procedures.

Works with the Sr. DBA on complex projects. A great degree of creativity and latitude is required. Relies on strong experience and judgment to plan and accomplish goals.



Basic Qualifications



1. Minimum of 5 Years of experience in IT

2. Minimum of 5 years of Technical – Database Administration experience

3. Experience with all Microsoft Office applications (Word, Excel, Visio and Outlook)

4. Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent experience.



Preferred Skills



5+ years of relevant work experience (Database Administration, Infrastructure/Network Management/Operations, Strategic IT Planning, IT Service/Product Development)
