Legal Entity Controller (Finance Officer)

Singapore, SG - Accounting, Banking

A Finance Officer role comes up with a global leading bank. This is 5-month contract role with the possibility of conversion to permanent or extension of contract.



You will be responsible for reporting to local authorities and parent company including monthly financial close, preparation of annual financial statements in compliance with GAAP and IFRS and supporting manager on regional projects such as new system testing. In addition, you will liaise with internal parties and external agents on accounting matters, tax matters, intercompany settlements, transfer pricing and hedging of currency exposure.



Ideal candidate is Bachelor Degree holder majoring in Accounting, Finance or related discipline with 2 - 3 years relevant experience. You should have strong analytical and creative problem-solving capabilities and possess knowledge in IFRS and US GAAP. You should be able to work independently and under strict deadline. Proactive, detailed oriented and being team player would be required at work.
