Commercial Finance Manager

Singapore, SG - Accounting, Consumer Goods, Electrical/Electronic Manufacturing

A Global Manufacturing & FMCG company based in Central Singapore has a requirement for a talented Commercial Finance Manager to join them in a newly-created role.



The role will hold responsibility for analysing, challenging & reporting relating to the company's product supplier & manufacturer relationships, including assessment of the risk profiles of their partners to include many different factors, including foreign currency exposures, managing risk that their partners face and how it might impact the company; supporting the treasury department on managing group hedge positions, as well as providing senior decision-support to high-level commercial stakeholders around the business.



You will be involved in devising strategy regarding product allocation across the selection of manufacturing partners the company has, and using analysis to drive internal discussions surrounding this. You will be regularly assessing the risk profiles of partner companies and providing financial analysis/support to the commercial team with data analysis and scenario mappings. You will also take ownership of ad hoc commercial & strategic projects and initiatives.



Prospective candidates for this position will possess either an MBA or full accountancy qualification with 7-10 years post-qualification experience. You will possess excellent financial modelling capabilities and strong Excel skills. You will have solid experience working across business functions and will have strong experience in stakeholder management.



You will have a natural finance business partnering approach with experience gained in a cross-functional MNC environment. Experience gained within a manufacturing or engineering environment will be advantageous but this is not strictly essential as many of these skills are transferable.
