The Third Party Security/Vendor Management Manager is responsible to develop and maintain the global Vendor Management Risk Program. The manager with work with IT, Business and Legal departments to ensure appropriate vendor controls exist and are followed.

 

ESSENTIAL RESPONSIBILITIES

• Manage, monitor and track compliance of all third parties/vendors to DFC vendor risk management and security policies.

• Ensure all third parties/vendors meet DFG minimum security controls prior to

connecting to DFC computer systems

• Monitor and ensure all applicable risk assessments are completed in the appropriate timeframe. Includes risk assessment and management of vendors both pre- and post-contract signing.

• Educate, advise and support vendor managers on risks and controls gaps

• Establish and maintain inventory of vendors. Classify vendors as strategic, operational or commodity based on their impact to the business

• Coordinate and oversee the day-to-day risk tasks both pre- and post-contract signing. Includes vendor due diligence reviews and coordinating directly with vendor to obtain and check the completeness of documentation

• Coordinate and execute annual risk reviews of strategic vendor with the business managers and stakeholders
