A globally recognised manufacturing engineering company are developing their existing team to introduce a new purchasing manager to the company. Based in the heart of County Tyrone they are offering an experienced purchasing manager the opportunity for career development and an unique opportunity.



In this role you will be expected to review current systems and procedures in order to innovatively develop the team and manage the 5 year strategic plan. You will demonstrate influential leadership skills with the responsibility of team delivery. You will further be expected to get involved with the purchasing process and managing the MRP system.



The successful candidate will be able to demonstrate three or more years purchasing experience within the heavy engineering industry.

They should be self motivated and display the ability to maintain relationships whilst building rapport with new suppliers. Self discipline and the ability to manage and work to deadlines is an essential element of the role. Educated to degree in a relevant discipline with industry recognised qualifications will be required.
