  • HP France is looking for an Employment Law Senior Counsel. If you have a solid experience in Employment Law of IT companies, apply for this position.


    The Office of the General Counsel (OGC) has approximately 1000 employees worldwide in 40 countries. We provide legal advice and support that helps our clients achieve the company’s business objectives in a manner that complies with applicable legal and ethical standards. Practice areas include supporting HP's five business units, Human Ressources, Ethics & Compliance and Litigation.


    Responsibilities:



    • Manages and leads counsel and litigation HR related issues.

    • Develops and recommends innovative process improvements to effectively address business needs of an aligned country or region.

    • Identifies and resolves highly complex local legal and HR issues.

    • Manages legal responsibilities for multiple client organizations with divergent priorities and needs

    • Leads complex and multidimensional projects.

    • Acts as a master of the local environment by advising on complex laws and regulations and their implications for the local HR teams/businesses.

    • Provides strategic legal counseling to management at HR level.

    • May provide specialized legal expertise in one or more areas of strategic importance or having a significant impact on HP's revenue or risk level.







Qualifications

Qualifications:



  • Advanced university degree in law (e.g. Master 2, LLM…).

  • Typically 10+ years HR legal experience at a law firm or in-house.

  • Significant experience managing multiple, complex, strategic, Employment law projects, issues, and transactions.

  • Excellent presentation and facilitation skills.

  • Fluent English

  • Excellent negotiation skills


Knowledge and Skills Required


• Mastery of legal and relevant HR and business knowledge in multiple practices areas in a country/region.


• Broad and deep knowledge of local/regional laws, regulations, policies, and procedures.


• Developed awareness of how to operate successfully in multiple international legal environments.


• Mastery in negotiating or advising senior representatives of external and internal organizations on complex and high value/risk matters.


• Excellent presentation and facilitation skills.


• English language skills to business standard required.


Team player, self-motivated, business oriented.
