Systems/Software Engineer (Entry/Intermediate - Recent Graduate)

HPStorage is looking for talented new graduate to join the kernel team in developing system software for HP StoreServ product line. In this role, the person will be working on I/O path, general cache management, logical-to-physical block device mapping, virtual volume management, etc. The person will be expected to contribute in the entire software development cycle, including initial concept prototype, design and review, implementation, and test case development.



QUALIFICATIONS:



- MS/PHD in Computer Science or Computer Engineering, or equivalent



- Proficient in C and Linux/Unix



- Solid understanding of OS principles and multi-threaded programming



- Understanding of computer storage and cache



- Highly motivated, a quick learner



- Good team player; good oral and written communication
