Audit Manager

A fantastic opportunity has arisen to join a major UK commercial brand, with offices based in Edinburgh and London. Working from the Edinburgh office, you will be responsible for the planning, performance and reporting on a number of commercially focussed Internal Audits across central Finance, Treasury and Operational functions.



The ideal candidate will be CA / ACCA qualified and possess strong experience of auditing within Finance and Operations from a Commercial (Internal) or Public Practice perspective.



This is an excellent opportunity to develop experience within a driven and exciting environment, working with a great degree of autonomy, and the ability to liaise with, and significantly influence stakeholders at all levels.



Travel will be UK based (largely Scotland) and no more than 25%



Key duties:



Delivery of a risk aware audit plan

Managing a mix of staff to ensure effective delivery to audit timetable

Stakeholder engagement - develop a strong understanding of business areas and strong stakeholder relationships to ensure effective service

Coaching and development of junior audit staff members

Developing technical finance skills and operational understanding to ensure robust and accurate audit delivery
