Senior Product Specialist - Internal Medicine

Stockholm, Sweden, SE - Biotechnology, Pharmaceuticals



Hays is currently seeking, on behalf of a client, a Senior Product Specialist for Internal Medicine Unit.



The ideal candidate will either be located in Sweden or Denmark.



PRIMARY ROLE

Responsible for the development and execution of a business plan for Company's Internal Medicine products in specific area of coverage, including annual sales targets and marketing strategies and tactics, which are adapted for local needs but consistent with European and global strategies. Cooperate with Nordic Sales Manager and Nordic Product Managers.



RESPONSIBILITIES

1. Responsible for the sales in the region

2. Prepare account plans to meet all objectives within allocated budget and activity

3. Develop long term business relationships through regular contact with relevant Clinicians, non-clinical managers and other staff to maximise business opportunities in the secondary sector and the relevant specialties

4. Utilises all available resources, including technology, to analyse and manage territory business.

5. Monitor own objectives v. target, activity v. target and spend v. budget and give feedback to Sales manager

6. Develop KOLs and product champions, maintain a list of speakers and co-ordinate speaker meetings and symposia

7. Utilises appropriate IT based control systems to plan and monitor business activities.

8. Feeds back local competitor and market intelligence.

9. Achieve an acceptable level of understanding of all relevant training/marketing materials.

10. Ensure personal conduct in consistent with the Company's Vision and Values.

11. Communicates and exchanges information between all regional team members and marketing teams to ensure maximum awareness and share best practice

12. Carry out other related tasks as requested by the Sales Manager

13. Adheres and comply to Company's Local and Global guidelines and national health regulations.

14. Organising and/or participating in appropriate local, national conferences and international conferences and Company's stand-alone meetings.



EDUCATION

Essential

- Graduate Qualification in Life Sciences or an associated area

- Previous experience working in Pharmaceutical/Biotech Sales and Marketing

- Fluent in English and local language

Desirable

- Higher level degree / MBA

- Experience within Endocrinology
