The client

A market leading electrical brand, recognised across the world for their innovative designs are currently recruiting an experienced Training and Merchandise Manager in the Dublin area. Our client designs and distributes higher price point electrical items to both multiples and independent retailers across Ireland, therefore it is essential a strong product training plan is in place. This successful candidate will effectively design and implement a national training programme, with a key focus on the effective merchandising of the company's products. You will also be an accomplished sales individual, with extensive experience of account management within a retail environment.



The position (Training and Merchandise Manager - Dublin)

As Training and Merchandise Manager, you will design and deliver an Ireland wide training programme, designed to improve the retailer's product knowledge, selling skills and effective merchandising of the product. The role will have a large focus on store merchandising, with the view of maximising sales and profit across the region. You will also assist in the store marketing plans and fixtures, as well as negotiating incremental space for fixtures and maintenance of fixtures.



It is essential you have a proven track record in either training or delivering engaging presentations to groups.



The ideal candidate

- Proven track record in either training or delivering engaging presentations to groups in a confident manner

- Previous retail account management experience, with a flair for selling

- Experience in a sales driven retail environment

- Extensive retail merchandising experience

- Ability to build sustainable relationships

- Enthusiastic, with a engaging personality

- Basic negotiation and sales skills

- Microsoft Office experience - Excel and PowerPoint
