Financial Accountant

Hays Senior Finance is currently recruiting on behalf of a medium sized growing PLC in Chippenham. Due to recent growth the business requires a Qualified Financial Accountant to join the team

Duties include

* To assist with the Group's external reporting and liaison with the external auditors.

* To maintain the Group's share option schemes.

Principal Accountabilities:

* Assist in the preparation of the Group plc annual report and interim report.

* Responsible for completion of all subsidiary statutory accounts.

* Assist in management of the Group's share schemes (Share save, SIP and options).

* Assist in the completion of tax returns and computations.

* Assist in the Group's company secretarial obligations.

* Assist in all corporate governance matters including maintaining the Group risk register.

* Assist in the annual insurance renewal process and to maintain an awareness of changing insurance requirements.

* Assist in the identification, development and implementation of changes to financial procedures and systems.

* Assist in maintaining an effective treasury function.

* Support the Group Financial Accountant with any ad-hoc reporting required.

Suitable candidates will be Qualified ACCA OR ACA and will have Qualified within a top 10 Accounting/Audit firm Candidates will be good communicators with experience in working with PLC businesses. Intermediate Excel skills required
