Telecom Solutions Technical Consultant play technical engineer/consultant in the Telecom solutions delivery and support team for Linux/Windows, script-based and java-based server side applications and solutions; Interacting with Customer technical staff, software divisions, consulting groups, end users etc. in Russia and world-wide; Define the technical low level design for the new solutions in collaboration with Solution Architect and End Customer; Implement and deliver new solutions in the Customer's environment and enhance existing ones; Develop GUI part of the different Telco services/solutions; Provide technical audit/analysis on regular base; 2nd level support of internet usage manager (IUM) and real time charging (RTC) solutions, problem identification, patch delivery; Ability to conduct complex investigations and root cause analysis Regular reporting preparation; Track service level agreement at various levels (from customer down to 3rd level support team). Develop Java custom applications and Shell scripts and deploy them in customer's environment



Qualifications and Education and Experience Required:



2-3+ years of professional experience and a Bachelor of Arts/Science or equivalent degree in computer science or related area of study;



professional experience (4+ years in total).



Fluent communication in reading, writing, speaking English; OS Knowledge: Linux (RHEL); Unix is a plus. Knowledge of Java Core, shell scripting languages, sql; Knowledge of version control systems (SVN or Git is a plus); Knowledge of GUI development (Struts, jQuery) is a plus; Knowledge of Perl is a plus; Experience in SW development and support; Aggressive ability to extract information from internal and external sources to use in successful fulfillment of responsibilities; Self driven and motivated, but balanced with teamwork and open communication skills results oriented; Flexibility, initiative, organized, analytical; Ability to quickly assimilate customer requirements across a broad range of fields;
