A NSW Government Department is currently looking for a Grade 7/8 Economist to join their team on a 6 month contract.



The right candidate for this position will have past experience carrying out a cost-benefit analysis, cost- effectiveness analysis, working knowledge of ABS Data, modelling and data extraction. You will also be required to provide advice and offer recommendations to Senior Management.



You will also require strong communication skills both written and spoken, a strong understanding of government and the ability to work autonomously or part of a team.



A Tertiary qualification in economics, finance or business is also required.



Only candidates who have immediate availability or have a notice period of 2 weeks or less will be considered for this position.
