Lead Engineer - Rotating Machinery

Coventry, United Kingdom, GB - Mechanical or Industrial Engineering

A prominent OEM in the power sector are currently looking for a Lead Engineer to join their team to be responsible for the design and development of turbomachinery packages / modules.



This key role will see the successful candidate taking control of multidisciplinary teams and handling several projects simultaneously - key responsibilities will include: estimating task requirements, task planning, and executing projects to an agreed time-scale; chairing design review meetings; and providing technical input related to the design of turbomachinery systems.



Ideally we are looking for an experienced Mechanical Design Engineer or Projects Engineer with a proven track record of leading assignments. This role will require someone to be experienced / knowledgeable in the design of turbomachinery / rotating machines / steam turbines / gas turbines / compressors / industrial gearboxes / generators.
