Within Technology Services, HP Network and Mobility Consulting (NMC) is expanding its Network Consulting capabilities aligned with the rapidly growing market demand. As a Senior Consultant for the entire EMEA region, you will act as the network solutions strategist and trusted advisor for both, client executives and HP global account teams. Your excellent technology background together with your ability to translate complex business requirements into network architectures and transformation roadmaps will allow you to quickly establish sustainable customer relationships.











In this role you will lead the end to end solutions for our client engagements, including Consulting Services, HP and partner networking products, as well as the integration with HP and party converged infrastructure components.











Professional Experience:





Degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Physics, Engineering or equivalent combination of education and experience











Team player with a positive spirit able to successfully operate in a global context











Fluent English as a business language. Candidate needs to be very comfortable and capable of driving technical and business conversations and presentations











Willing to travel throughout EMEA (50%) 10+ years experience in the presale of complex network solutions to Global Enterprises and Service Providers





10+ years experience in designing DC, cloud, campus, and mobile infrastructure network solutions











7+ years experience in Consulting engagements as an Network Infrastructure Solution Lead Architect











Relevant experience with emerging technologies such as SDN and NFV











Ability to understand customer business requirements and how to transform it to corresponding IT solutions











Ability to cope with peak workloads, short deadlines, and significant pressure











Solid financial and deal shaping background including business case development and contracting fundamentals. Consulting Skills:











Advance knowledge of IT market trends with a strong focus on Networking





Demonstrate excellent consultative, solution selling skills











Proven track record to build and maintain long-term relationships on executive level











Strong client satisfaction, service quality, and solution value commitment











Ability to effectively communicate with different levels in the customer organization, from subject matter experts to workgroup managers and executives











Strong in managing virtual teams across countries and business units











Solid program/project management methodology and process skills. Track record of leading successful implementations in international engagements.











Ability to setup winning teams for complex transformations











Deep understanding of consulting engagement processes, including lead generation, opportunity pursuit, contracting, and service delivery























Architecture Skills:











Design of integrated network architectures based on business needs in the context of cost, timeline, maintainability and operations constraints











Lead the planning, analysis, design, development, and deployment phases for large scale enterprise infrastructures based on global solutions that span multiple technologies and disciplines











Solid understanding of industry specific IT requirements from two or more verticals, e.g. transportation/rail, retail, banking, health care











At least one valid IT certification in an appropriate architectural discipline











Deep dive experience in IT transformation and migration services.











Broad knowledge of IT standards and best practices and how to apply them appropriately in solutions.











Expert or Master level of knowledge of multiple technologies or IT disciplines











Able to design planning for accessibility, scalability, and availability Engagement Delivery











Ability to write Statements of Work for large enterprise or global level solutions that span multiple technologies or operational areas.











Business Development Skills:











Strong track record in driving a service led approach in the large Enterprise and Service Provider space.











Strong understanding of the competition - both positioning strategy and high level technology - to create competitive advantage for HP.











Able to play a leadership role in business development activities for large, complex opportunities.











Lead in identifying, qualifying, and closing large, complex opportunities.











Collaborates effectively with global account teams. Understand and manage specific expectations and KPIs of the involved organizational units.











Manage internal reviews and contribute to approval process for large, complex opportunities.











Can significantly contribute in the development of new HP services and modifications to the methodology.





























Qualifications: The ideal candidate will possess:











10+ years experience in the presale of complex network solutions to Global Enterprises and Service Providers











5+ years experience in Consulting engagements











Fundamental experience in the security space











Advance knowledge of market trends in Networking.











Experience in transformation and migration services











Strong track record in the design/implementation of networking projects/solutions in the Enterprise and/or Service Provider Space











Ability to effectively communicate Transformation Business Value to various executive business levels











Strong understanding of the competition - both positioning strategy and technology - to create competitive advantage for HP











Experience in creating statement of work (SOW) positioning transformation & migration services together











Strong in managing virtual teams of consultants and technical specialists
