Financial Controller (Renewable Energy)

Our client, a dynamic and growing AIM listed Energy business are looking to hire a proven Financial Controller to take ownership of the finance function, connecting finance to the business and implementing robust process improvements.



This role would be ideally suited to professionals who have worked in SME environments during periods of change, knowing the importance of proper management and enjoy the challenge of ensuring finance is strategically incorporated into the wider business.



The Role



Full ownership of all aspects relating to financial control

Supervision of 7 - 4 UK based, 3 international

Reporting into CFO & board of directors

Responsibility for identifying and implementing strategic process improvements to support business growth plans

Delivering performance insight into CFO & Board to drive key business decisions

Project work



The Person



Qualified accountant

Experience within SME environment

Desire to identify and implement change

Professional, dynamic personality

Energy experience is desirable but not essential
