IT Operations professionals support infrastructure operations and/or manage delivery for IT production systems and services based on operational requirements and service agreements.



Job Description



Data Center professionals develops and delivers strategies and solutions for housing and managing the computer systems and communications infrastructure -- including servers, databases, storage devices, etc. -- that handle the data necessary for enterprise operations.



Analyzes and solvesproblems that are low complexity and may be routine in nature where answers can be readily obtained.



Interacts with peers within Accenture before updating supervisors. Likely has limited direct exposure with non-management levels at a client and/or within Accenture.



Receives moderate of level instruction on daily work tasks and detailed instructions on new assignments.



Decisions impact own work and may impact the work of others.



Individual contributor as a part of a team, with a focused scope of work.



Technical Skill Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree and prior relevant business experience.

  • Data Centre operations experience

  • Virtualisation technology experience, especially VMware and Oracle SPARC

  • Experience with storage technologies in particular EMC and NetApp

  • Experience with designing server & storage solutions

  • Ability to articulate development, operational and technical issues to both technical and non-technical audiences

  • Ability to express complex technical concepts, issues and ideas into various media; proposals, white papers, presentations and architecture designs

  • Ability to meet travel requirements, when applicable.

  • Must be a citizen




Professional Skill Requirements

  • Proven success in contributing to a team-oriented environment

  • Proven ability to work creatively and analytically in a problem-solving environment

  • Desire to work in an information systems environment with a focus on IT infrastructure

  • Excellent leadership, communication (written and oral) and interpersonal skills

  • Ability to manage team and delivery in complex environment.
