This company is a leader in the management of outsourced total maintenance contracts across many industries in Australia. Managing maintenance contracts across multiple sites, they are breaking new ground in the provision of asset management and maintenance. This fast growing and energetic team has an immediate and exciting opportunity for an experienced facilities maintenance professional as Area Manager.



You will manage the execution of approved asset management plans and operational practices to provide reliable and predictable performance for the designated portfolio of assets. Operational delivery will be your primary focus, ensuring consistency and strong client relationships. The integrity of the sites is to be managed through the identification of project improvements and compliance to the client's processes. You will recommend and propose options for upgrading facilities within the designated area to improve network integrity and assess the feasibility of such options. With a broad spanning region, regular travel will be required for this role.



Reporting to the Regional Manager, you will have an extensive facilities maintenance trade background and proven management experience. Ideally you will need a sound understanding of the operations and maintenance environment in a telecommunications or technical service industry. With experience in compliance requirements for buildings you will also need a risk management approach to building management. As a strong leader and confident communicator, you will have skills in delivering presentations, issue resolution and the ability to develop a strong team environment.
