As we, HP enhance our portfolio of products, services and solutions to support this Mobility growth we are seeking a highly motivated and skilled Mobility Solutions Architect to join a team of focused professionals.
As a member of our Specialist Sales team focusing on driving mobility across the Commercial & Enterprise segment, the Mobility Solutions Architect will bring subject matter expertise, solution design and solution architecting capabilities to be able to deliver and exceed on a number of key requirements.

If you do, then the Mobility Solutions Architect will be expected to help us realize our goals and will require the following skills to be successful and make HP successful:
Solution Design and Development
- Define the solution stacks (hardware, software, services) to drive demand for mobility devices adoption within commercial segments
- Drive and lead POC activities with our end customers and also partner networks including specific vertical industry or workflow solution ISVs.
- Provides the overall Mobility solution vision, scope and deliverable to meet the specific customer requirements
- Identifies and evaluates key solution value-add alternatives through close engagement and with key industry, vertical or application ISV, SI and/or OEM partners.
- Understands the customer growth path, scalability, IT & Mobility strategy and business impact. Acknowledging the element of Management of Change in some workflow transformation processes.
- Optimizes the solution to meet and the broader customer IT strategy
- Posses a holistic end to end view of a solution, ensuring elements within their responsibility deliver against the defined business outcomes, using standard components wherever possible
- Can innovate with new solution approaches over and above standard requirements to deliver customer value add.
Client/Customer Relationship
- Builds professional relationships with key IT and business executives across the Commerical and Enterprise account space
- Understands and addresses the CxO and business issues and challenges
- Capability to engage in consultative selling techniques to advance opportunities
- Participates in and supports the negotiation for any technical contract elements of a proposed solution
Account Team Collaboration
- Proactive participation and engagement with the account team in specific account and opportunity planning across the region or particular market
- Provides solution advice, drives proposals, presentations, and other customer communications during pursuit activity
- Supports the activity and engagement around opportunity identification by the Mobility Specialist
- Understands the roles and proactively engages other teams and resources within HP and partners
Qualifications
•Technical university or Bachelor preferred or equivalent experience
•8-12 years experience in solution selling and/or consultative selling
•5-7 years experience in project/program management
Knowledge and Skills:
Technical/Solution
•Demonstrates a broad knowledge of outsourcing services and solutions, with expertise in area of specialization
•Awareness of Alliance partner offerings and directions, current industry news
•Applies broad understanding of technical innovations and trends to solving customer business problems
•Demonstrates thought leadership and subject expertise in the Mobility speciality area
•Demonstrates ability to work as the lead for components of large complex projects
•Has in-depth understanding of the product and services portfolio roadmaps of multiple business units across the HP organisation
Business
• Leverages financial and accounting concepts in demonstrating business value of proposed solutions to customers
• Proposes solutions that creatively address customer value chain and business requirements
• Persuasively communicates the value of the solution in terms of financial return and benefits, impact on customer business goals
