Contracts Specialist



This is a long term (6 month +) role for a Senior Contracts Specialist to work with this highly regarded mining company.



The role will broadly ensure all contractual matters are properly and effectively negotiated, documented and implemented and evaluate the performance of contractors against contractual conditions.



You will provide full Contract Management support to the project by preparing and issuing tender and contract documentation; Negotiate contractual terms and agreements with the successful vendors and suppliers; Make recommendations for award of contracts; Provide advice to contracts and project teams concerning contractual matters including disputes and analyse and manage commercial risk to the project.



To be successful, you will have previous project contracts and/or procurement experience within mining the mining sector with a successful track record at a management level in this type of role for a minimum period of 5 years. Naturally, you will possess strong negotiation and communication skills, and are at ease in dealing with a range of stakeholders.



An immediate start is desirable and you should already reside in Perth as this is not a FIFO role and relocation costs are not available.

AUD70.00 per hour
