Operations Engineer (Pharmaceutical)



A leading pharmaceutical company, with a forward-looking pipeline to expand their manufacturing biologic product lines, is urgently seeking a Operations Engineer to provide support to the downstream manufacturing operation processes.



You will be responsible for various qualification and validation of new process and equipment (IQ, OP, PQ). You will also design, write and implement PQ and process validation (PV/PPQ). You will be training manufacturing personnel and resolving manufacturing quality issues at start up. You will perform downstream optimisation processes to gain manufacturing yield.



Other responsibilities include participating in technology transfer and proposing new manufacturing technologies to improve overall manufacturing quality and capacity.



To be successful in this role, you should have at least a Bachelor or Masters in Engineering or Science, with at least 3-4 years of experience with hands-on cell-culture, downstream or chromatography processes in a pharmaceutical manufacturing position.

You should be familiar with equipment and process validation and have experience in optimising the operational process for protein purification and separation. Fresh PhD graduates with relevant expertise in pharmaceutical protein separation are welcome to apply.
