A leading player in the chemical process industry are currently looking to fill a key position for a Proposals Engineer. The company are globally renowned for setting the standards in the design, fabrication, and after-market support of industrial filtration systems which are predominantly used in the oil & gas, petrochemical, and power generation industries. This organisation manages to retain the feel of a family run business despite having the backing of a larger, multinational corporation, and is able to boast a full order book and a global customer base.
The company are in the strong position to be able to bolster their workforce, and have identified the Proposals Engineer position as a key requirement. As the bridge between the Technical Sales and Design teams, this role offers candidates a blend of commercial and technical tasks - the role will involve performing design / validation calculations as well as liaising with customers to ensure projects are completed on spec, on schedule, and on budget.
Essentially what we are looking for is a Proposals Engineer / Tendering Engineer with a mechanical background - someone with knowledge of pressure vessels / heat exchangers / filtration systems / chemical process systems would be at a distinct advantage, as would someone with knowledge of the Oil & Gas / Petrochemical sectors.
